Niall Murphy

Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer


Niall is a technologist and serial-entrepreneur. Niall co-founded pan European WiFi network The Cloud in 2003, acquired by British Sky Broadcasting (a subsidiary of News Corporation) in 2011. He was also recently CEO of multi-platform gaming software firm Marmalade. Niall founded one of the first ISPs in Africa in a joint venture with Sprint in 1994, later acquired by UUnet. He subsequently founded three digital media businesses in South Africa, he later sold. He also co-founded The Digital Thinking Network, a future scenario planning organisation based in Amsterdam. Niall has authored and presented numerous papers around the world, including at TED. He was a co-author of the WiFi International Roaming Access Protocols framework in 2005, adopted by the IETF. Niall contributed as a policy adviser on telecoms in South Africa in the early 90s through an African National Congress (ANC) think tank.


Andy Hobsbawm

Co-founder & Chief Marketing Officer


Andy established the first international Internet agency in 1994 which merged with pioneering digital services firm in 1997 where he was European MD then Chairman until 2009. Andy co-founded the award-winning online community Do The Green Thing in 2007. He has been listed among the 100 top digital influencers by Wired UK and was recently named among the 20 inaugural inductees of the British Interactive Multimedia Association’s Digital Hall of Fame, alongside Sir Tim Berners-Lee, Jonathan Ive and Dr. Mike Lynch. He has been a weekly columnist about the new economy for the Financial Times, a member of GartnerG2’s first advisory board on online advertising and spoken at numerous conferences including TED. He has yet to receive any royalties from obscure pop songs released by a minor independent record label in Europe.


Dominique Guinard

Co-founder & Chief Technical Officer


Dom Guinard got his Ph.D. from ETH Zurich, where he worked on laying down the foundations of the Web of Things: a world-wide network of interconnected objects (sensors, appliances, machines and tagged objects) and co-founded the Before this, he worked on bringing industrial networks of RFID-tagged objects to the Web at the MIT Auto-ID Labs in USA. He also worked 4 years for SAP on the software aspects of the next generation platform for integrating real-world services with business systems. Dominique was a researcher at the Auto-ID Labs Zurich, working on mobile interactions with the Internet of Things (IoT) for Nokia. Before this, he worked on scalable IoT enterprise software architectures for Sun Microsystems. He holds an MSc in Computer Science and a BSc in Computer Science and Management from the Universities of Fribourg and Bern with a specialization in mobile and ubiquitous computing at Lancaster University, UK. In 2011, Dominique was listed 5th amongst the top 100 IoT thinkers by Postscapes. Early in 2012, his Ph.D. research was granted the ETH Medal.


John C. Fogelin

Chief of Engineering


John was an early embedded software pioneer and contributor to Wind River Systems, and a key architect and implementer of the VxWorks real-time operating system, including the microkernel wind. During his 17-year tenure, he held the executive positions of CTO, General Manager / Vice President of the Embedded Technologies Business Unit, and Vice President of Platform Engineering. He also served as Vice President of Engineering at Ekso Bionics, California, and Levant Power, Massachusetts. Over his career, John has contributed to Martian rovers, human-gait-rehabilitation exoskeleton robots, the world’s fastest production motorcycle, and a fractal drawing Etch-A-Sketch. He has been granted US Patents: 5872909 – Logic analyzer for software, 8359575 – Protection domains for a computer operating system. John holds BA in computer science from University of California at Berkeley. His personal interests include guitar building, kayaking, and cooking.


Cameron Hulett

Chief Commercial Officer


Cameron’s background integrates engineering, technology and business, and he holds degrees in all three disciplines (BSc Hon, MSc Eng, MBA). With global experience and local knowledge spanning counties such as France, Germany, the UK and USA, he’s led businesses, reshaped global divisions, consulted to multinationals, and held many board positions. Prior to EVRYTHNG, Cameron managed and drove numerous high-growth businesses from the executive level. His roles included Executive Director at Undertone (a digital advertising and technology business), Executive Head of Solution Strategy, Sales and Marketing at Acceleration (a WPP digital technology consulting business), Group MD at Blue Freeway (a listed technology group), CEO and founder of Rocketseed (an email technology business). Cameron is a sought-after speaker and contributor to business publications, and has lectured at the Graduate School of Business in South Africa.


Brad Burde

Chief Financial Officer

Brad has over a decade’s years experience as a financial analyst and portfolio manager at prominent money management firms Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., Sandler Capital Management, and Chase Investment Bank. He has also been a director, advisory board member and CFO at a number of start-ups in the technology sector such as TruEffect, Protobrand and the streaming content pioneer he co-founded, Netcast Communications.


Jennifer Hyman Sutton

Chief Product Officer

Jennifer is a digital industry veteran with senior level experience in Marketing, Product, Operations and Strategy. Jen has held positions at Google, YouTube, ShareThis, DoubleVerify, Jupiter Research and most recently, Lua- secure mobile messaging for the workplace.


Curt Schacker

Senior Vice President, Connected Products

Curt has spent over 25 years in the Silicon Valley high tech community, having held a number of senior positions in sales, marketing, and business development, including VP of Worldwide Marketing at Wind River (Intel), Executive VP of Field Operations at Real-Time Innovations, and VP of Sales at Arrayent. He co-founded and served as CEO of Embedded Solution Partners, which was named the 20th fastest growing private company in Silicon Valley in 2006. Curt has spoken and served as a panelist at numerous events around the world, offering education and insight into leading edge embedded and communications software topics. He is a strong advocate for advancement of Web- connected products. Curt began his career developing flight software for the NASA Hubble Space Telescope. He graduated with honors from Wright State University with a degree in Computer Science.


Bill Simcox

Senior Vice President

Bill has over 25 years of experience in consumer products. He built his career at Unilever in sales and brand management across each of their Household & Personal Care, Foods and Beverages businesses. Bill then moved to Molson Coors first as a Business Unit Director and then as an eCommerce Director before becoming Director of Marketing for the its European Business at a time when the new impact of digital marketing added agility, personalization and measurement rigor to the more traditional elements of the marketing mix in order to manage brand equity effectively. He then moved to Kodak as part of its strategic turnaround to develop a new incubator division that launched new digital imaging businesses that could transform consumer goods companies in the digital imaging, automated marketing, content management and anti-counterfeiting spaces. Bill is a very strong advocate of technology and its ability to unlock new enterprise value for corporations across many areas such as eCommerce, Consumer Engagement, Brand Protection and Supply Chain Optimization.


Ryan McManus

Senior Vice President, Partnerships & Development

Ryan has over 20 years’ experience as a leader in both digital business start-ups and large corporate digital transformations.  He previously founded Accenture’s Digital Business Strategy practice and served as the Accenture Strategy COO and a leader in the firm’s Corporate Strategy, M&A and International Expansion businesses.  Ryan is the author of several articles on digital business and corporate strategy and is a frequent conference speaker.  He serves on two advisory committees with the Aspen Institute and has advised multiple technology startups and non-profits.  Ryan earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and has worked in over 40 countries.


Zachary R. Bennett

Vice President, Customer Success


An engineer and marketer by training, Zack has spent his career creating innovative ways for companies and consumers to interact via the digital world. Zack started his career consulting for Accenture in Silicon Valley, and then went on to build the next generation of digital marketing platforms at American Express. He currently leads the Customer Success team at EVRYTHNG.



Chris Barnes

Director of Product

Chris has over a decade of product management at companies such as Apple, Microsoft, Walt Disney, Animoto and Infospace. His experience championing software strategies and value propositions has included working on well known technology products like Windows Phone and MobileMe. Chris’ focus is always on building products that users will love while guiding the business goals of the organization behind it.

Jeff Burde

Investor Director


Jeff has over 20 years’ experience as an international finance leader across diverse investments and geographies. He is an active investor in marketing technology companies that connect brands and advertisers directly with consumers. Jeff also serves as Vice Chairman – Head of the Americas of personalised video start-up Idomoo Inc. and Board Director of media and measurement platform TruEffect. Previously in his role as the Managing Director Asia Pacific for Merrill Lynch, he oversaw key businesses spanning Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore.


Mattias Ljungman

Investor Director


Mattias launched Atomico in 2006 alongside Niklas Zennström and has been involved with exits or substantial transactions in companies including Supercell (majority stake to SoftBank valuing the business at $3bn in 2013) and The Climate Corporation (acquired by Monsanto for $1.1B in 2013). Before launching Atomico, Mattias was the head of investments at CLS Holdings, and worked in M&A consultancy at LEK and in-fund management at Valu-Trac. He holds a Masters from the Stockholm School of Economics and a BA with Honors from McGill University.
